Christina Reyman has been named Associate Director for Financial Management in the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP). In this new role, Christina will join the OSP leadership team, where she will provide leadership and oversight for the financial management of sponsored programs.

Christina has been an integral part of the OSP team for nearly six years and brings 13 years of experience in higher education research administration to this new role. During her time with OSP, she has contributed across several areas of post-award operations, including grants and contracts administration and financial accounting. Most recently, she has led our Financial Research Accountants, bringing her knowledge, experience, and thoughtful approach to supporting both her team and our research community. Before joining UNLV, Christina gained valuable research administration experience at Fresno State and UC Davis.

The creation of the Associate Director for Financial Management role comes at an important time for OSP. As UNLV’s research enterprise continues to grow, the financial and regulatory requirements associated with sponsored awards have become increasingly complex and demanding. This new leadership role strengthens our ability to meet those demands while continuing to provide the high level of financial stewardship and support our researchers and campus partners rely upon.

In her new role, Christina will oversee key financial post-award operations, with particular focus on cash management and financial accounting. She will provide leadership and oversight of sponsored program account activity throughout the lifecycle of an award, helping to ensure fiscal transactions are managed in accordance with appropriate accounting procedures, sponsor requirements, and applicable laws and regulations.

Christina brings to this role not only extensive knowledge of our post-award operations, but also a deep understanding of the work we do and the people we serve. Please join us in congratulating Christina on this well-deserved appointment and wishing her continued success as OSP’s new Associate Director for Financial Management.
