Josie Libero (PhD candidate, Koury group) is the proud recipient of the Darlene Hoffman Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellowship aka the Next-Gen fellowship.  The fellowship nuclear nonproliferation leadership development program the "is tailored for the next generation of scientific leaders who will push the boundaries of science in service of the National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) nonproliferation mission". As a fellow, Josie will be stationed at Lawrence Berkely National Laboratory and lead independent research focused on actinide metallurgy.
