Quinn Summerfield (PhD candidate; Gelis Group) was awarded the prestigious ASCENDR Fellowship. The one-year program is designed for STEM students at HSRU Alliance institutions. The cohort-based fellowship prepares emerging scientists for leadership in the national security sector by combining faculty-mentored, defense-relevant research with professional development focused on the strategic and technical dimensions of the national security agenda.
