I-ACED (Improving Access to Career and Educational Development) is a multi-institutional needs-based graduate program that supports students seeking professional graduate degrees in engineering and STEM fields. This program offers financial support, professional development, and academic and personal mentorship. If you are a student considering applying for the professional Master’s programs and will be seeking financial aid, you may be eligible for the I-ACED program.

 

I-ACED Benefits:

As an I-ACED scholar, while pursuing your Master’s degree at the designated program you will also benefit from:

  • Up to $10,000 in tuition scholarship funds toward student’s education

  • Career and educational development professional and social support by faculty mentors and student cohorts

  • Ongoing scholar engagement activities during the academic year

  • Guided in-person tour of U.S. Army Engineer Research & Development Center facilities (expenses covered)

  • Coordinated internships or research experiences (locally or at U.S. Army Engineer Research & Development Center)

  2. Biotechnology 

  3. Sustainability and Resilience 

I-ACED Eligibility: 

  • Be a US citizen, permanent resident, US national, or an admitted refugee at the time of the application

  • Acceptance for admission to one of the I-ACED schools and programs (you may concurrently apply for I-ACED while also applying for your graduate program)

  • Have demonstrated unmet financial need as defined by the individual university that you are applying for (based on your FAFSA application).

I-ACED is an inclusive program promoting STEM development by engaging talented students and professionals of diverse backgrounds. Through this academic and industrial collaboration, we strive to create flexible experiences for individuals seeking further graduate education and entering the STEM workforce nationally and globally.
