What is this?
The UNLV office of Service Learning and Leadership holds the Impact Awards annually to recognize students and student org community engagement. There are 3 awards to apply for:

CASH* Awards (Community Action Service Honorarium)= lowest level requires 15 hours of service to earn Rebel Cash (good for printing, coffee, food, books and stuff at the bookstore) Apply for the CASH Award here

Impact Awards= nominate yourself or someone else for an award in 6 different categories- service, philanthropy, mutual aid, community organizing, voting and political engagement, and advocacy; app takes about 15 minutes to complete. Apply for the Impact Awards

President's Volunteer Service Award= lowest level requires 100 hours of community service (see application for guidelines) , apply for annual recognition or lifetime recognition
How do I do this?
If you already did the service between March of 2023 and April 17 of 2024, take 15 minutes to fill out the hours log and submit your application! Nominations close on April 11, 2024.
Anything else?
Join us for the celebration-- we have the celebration event Wednesday, April 17 from 3 - 5 p.m. in SU 208. There will be a brief ceremony, followed by crafts, caricature artists, balloon artists, tarot reader, & cookies.

See if your hosting org has tracked hours! Contact your program staff or advisor to see if they have data to help you with.

If you did your service with a UNLV org, see if they held their events on the Involvement Center. Go to the upper right corner (click on your initials in the circle to open the drop-down menu listed Event History). If you did service with an org that uses Event Pass and the Involvement Center, it will be found there and you can add your events to your log from there.
