The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) has a new and exciting opportunity for Las Vegas pre-med students which will give them in-person access to our Admissions team and current medical students who call Las Vegas home.

On April 27th, they will be hosting a one-day FREE event at the UNLV Tam Alumni Center to help our pre-med students strengthen their application to medical school, and better understand the metrics used to evaluate their applications.

The event will feature a presentation by the Director of Admissions at UNR Med as well as a medical student panel featuring four Las Vegas natives currently enrolled at UNR. The day will also feature discussions about developing and demonstrating your passion for medicine, and a detailed conversation about academic metrics (GPA/MCAT) being predictive factors in admission to medical school.
