Dear UNLV Campus Community,

I am delighted to share that the College of Fine Arts will continue our Faculty and Staff Appreciation Arts Events initiative for the 2026–27 academic year. Each semester, we will select events for which members of the campus community can RSVP and receive free tickets. In the spirit of “One UNLV,” the Office of the President is also graciously sponsoring receptions before each of these events.

While our fall semester events will be announced soon, I am pleased to invite faculty and staff to a special bonus event as we launch the new performing arts season.

Chamber Music Society: “Reflections of Shadow and Light”

Thursday, September 10

Doc Rando Hall, Lee and Thomas Beam Music Center

Our inaugural Chamber Music Society event will feature a trio of musicians performing “Reflections of Shadow and Light.” The first 100 people to RSVP will receive two complimentary tickets.

A reception will be held before the performance, and we will also celebrate the 294 brand-new seats in Doc Rando Hall, enhancing this beautiful campus venue for our audiences and performers.

Information and RSVP details for the September 10 bonus event can be found here.

I wish each and every one of you a wonderful start to the new academic year. We are thrilled to welcome you to the many arts events taking place throughout the year.

All best wishes,

Nancy J. Uscher
Dean, College of Fine Arts
