Joseph Svendsen (UNLV Music) will take Kantori of Faith Community Lutheran Church to the 2026 Western ACDA Conference as one of the selected Performing Choirs. 

Joseph Svendsen is the Director of Choral Studies and Associate Professor of Music, where he conducts the UNLV Singers and teaches graduate coursework in conducting and choral literature, working with students seeking an MM in Choral Conducting. Svendsen serves as cantor at Faith Lutheran Church in Summerlin, Nevada, where the church’s Kantori and Choral Scholars undertake a biennial residency at St Albans Cathedral in Hertfordshire, England.
