The UNLV Fine Arts Alumni Chapter and the UNLV School of Cinematic Arts present a screening of the film HUZ: Drawn to Life, a documentary about UNLV Fine Arts Alumnus, CFA Hall of Fame inductee, and first Black animator at Walt Disney Animation Studios, Ron Husband.
Join us for an intimate portrait of artist Ron Husband, who broke barriers at Walt Disney Animation Studios. Husband entered Disney’s rigorous training program in the 1970s, navigating high-pressure reviews, a life-threatening brain tumor, and vital contribution to animated classics.
