Congratulations to Elmira Ebadi, M. Arch Candidate, who took home third place in the 2025 UNLV Graduate College 3-Minute Thesis competition. Elmira won the preliminary round out of over 100 submissions, finished second in the semi-finals (pictured here), and was the only representative left from the College of Fine Arts when she placed third. 

The Rebel Grad Slam invites scholars from across campus to explain what they study, how they study it, and why it matters to folks outside their field in three minutes or less . Elmira won her preliminary round, finished second in the semi-finals, and is now the only representative left from the College of Fine Arts. She is one of two Masters students remaining in competition with seven Doctoral students. Congratulations Elmira, and kudos to the several Master of Architecture students that competed this year!
