UNLV is a large research university that provides a critical education in the fine arts in the heart of a glittering capital of entertainment. Our student body is largely first-generation working students who have chosen to pursue college degrees in art in a city that prioritizes full-time careers in the service industry. UNLV brims with energy from a new generation of thinkers, creators, and leaders focused on taking Las Vegas and the world forward.
