UNLV will take on the State Director role and serve as host institution for the Nevada Science Olympiad. In this capacity, UNLV will lead and manage this high-impact statewide STEM initiative moving forward. Nevada Science Olympiad advances K–12 science education by engaging students of all backgrounds in hands-on STEM learning and recognizing the achievements of participating students and educators. This transition deepens UNLV’s commitment to STEM education, workforce development, and community engagement. Through university-wide collaboration and strong community partnerships, including a newly approved school district agreement supporting team coaches, UNLV will connect K–12 students and their families with our faculty, facilities, and academic programs.
