UNLV faculty are at the forefront of geopolitical history and theory, with history professor Paul Werth receiving a $70,000 Guggenheim Fellowship award for his expertise on Russia. Werth is one of only 180 Guggenheim Fellows who will engage in projects that will directly respond to issues like climate change, pandemics, racism, and the war in Ukraine.
