Vy Nguyen joins the Academic Success Center (ASC) as the math bridge specialist after a decade of tutoring and teaching mathematics in K-12. In her position, she oversees all functions of the Math Bridge program, including Summer Math Bridge and Fall Math 5. Vy is an alumni of UNLV where she earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics and a Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. As a first-generation Vietnamese American and college graduate, Vy is passionate about creating equitable spaces and opportunities for all students in higher education.
