Biography

Stacey Moeller joined the CANE Lab in Fall 2020 as a Clinical Psychology graduate student. She is excited to connect with the Las Vegas community and empower adults living with dementia through outreach and research. Stacey studies the influence of psychosocial and environmental factors (such as race, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic status, and trauma) on neurodegenerative disease processes. Prior to joining the CANE lab, she conducted research at the Mesulam Center for Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer’s Disease, investigating the rare dementia syndrome Primary Progressive Aphasia. She also has experience working with adults with stroke, chronic medical problems, and severe mental illness. Stacey has a bachelor's degree in psychology from Trinity International University and a MSc in Clinical and Developmental Neuropsychology from Bournemouth University.
