I am a volunteer undergraduate researcher currently pursuing a degree in Film and Anthropology. My research interests include LGBTQ and specifically trans populations in the US, African-American, and Korean American studies, and how film has the capability to both shape and reflect cultures across the world. My current work includes documenting the diversity and functions of music in the life of Hadza foragers with my mentor, Dr. Alyssa Crittenden, and our collaborator, Dr. Aniruddh Patel, from the Department of Psychology at Tufts University. I am also co-directing a documentary on the Lost City Museum in Overton, Nevada with Anthropology graduate student, Benjamin Van Alstyne.
