Biography

Sebastian Ross attends the William S. Boyd School of Law. As a second-year law student, he serves as president for the UNLV Black Law Students Association, sits as a junior staffer for the UNLV Gaming Law Journal, and works as a Legislative Extern for Nevada Senator Dallas Harris. Ross researches and writes about environmental inequity relating to the historically African-American North Las Vegas neighborhood of Windsor Park as a research assistant under Professor Ngai Pindell and Senior Fellow Frank Fritz. His experience includes working as a teaching assistant in a class pertaining to casino law, taught by Adjunct Professor Uri Clinton, and as a law clerk [C1] for the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada Consumer Rights Project. He earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from the UNLV Hank Greenspun School of Journalism. Outside of school, he covers the Las Vegas gaming industry as a columnist for Gaming Today.
