Dr. Rachel Ali Rodriguez leverages her rich background in teaching, research, and mentorship to help empower students on their educational journeys. A three-time alumna of UNLV, Rachel holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience ‘21, a master’s degree in Psychology '19, and a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences '14. As an undergraduate, Rachel was a recipient of the Engelstad Scholarship and a proud member of the Honors College. Her graduate research explored neurodevelopment under typical conditions and in neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorders and developmental epilepsies.
Rachel is passionate about making a difference in people's lives and wants to "give back" the extraordinary experience she received during her undergraduate years in the Honors College. When not on campus, she enjoys spending time with her family, painting, trying new foods, and visiting new places.
