Biography

As associate vice president of Facilities Management, Musa Pam is responsible for approximately 4 million square feet of space within 100 buildings and facilities, 13,000 assets, and 400 acres of grounds on UNLV's Maryland and Shadow Lane campuses. He leads a workforce of approximately 300, including direct reports, administrative personnel, custodial, trades, grounds, and student workers, and oversees the unit's operational and capital improvement budgets.

Background

Prior to joining UNLV in 2021, he served as the director of operations, logistics, and support at Brown University, a private Ivy League research university in Providence, Rhode Island. While there, he oversaw 7.2 million square feet of university space on 146 acres, including 260 buildings and 24,000 facilities management assets. He also worked with planning, design, and construction to support $100 million in annual construction and infrastructure renewal projects.
