Maricela Jazmin Chapa recently completed a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, with dual minors in Philosophy and Sociology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Her subjects of interest include animal ethics, art therapy, and social psychology.

Maricela began her career at the UNLV PRACTICE as a front desk worker at the Rancho satellite clinic in October of 2022. Her administrative skills and dedication to mental health gave her the opportunity to take on her current role as Office Manager of both UNLV PRACTICE clinics.

She hopes to continue to provide affordable mental health services to the Las Vegas community and plans to continue her education through UNLV's MSW program.
