Biography

Kirsten DiNicola is a visiting lecturer at the School of Public Policy and Leadership in the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs at the University at Nevada, Las Vegas. Her areas of expertise and research are with technology equity and integrating technology-enhanced practices in human service organizations, and workforce retention. She holds a particular interest towards the effect of the digital divide on access to public services and their outcomes.

DiNocla has more than 15 years of accomplished career in human services, prior to entering into academics. She has worked in both the government and nonprofit sectors and held direct practice and administrative roles in each. Much of her career has been dedicated to the public child welfare domain and its workforce.
