Biography

Katie Singsank joined the CANE Lab in Fall 2022 as a Clinical Psychology Graduate Student. Prior to joining the CANE Lab, Katie graduated with a BA in Psychology and Interdisciplinary Emphasis in Neuroscience from the University of Puget Sound and has spent the last 6 years working full-time in research. Mostly recently, Katie was Lab Manager of the University of Washington Department of Rehabilitation Medicine’s Research on Aging, Disability, and Resilience (RADAR) Lab under the direction of Dr. Ivan Molton. During her time in RADAR Lab, Katie researched community-based behavioral interventions for adults aging with neurodegenerative diseases and long-term physical disabilities. Katie is passionate about aging research and is interested in exploring how improving access to care in underserved populations, especially rural and medically complex, affects neurodegenerative disease progression.
