Biography

Jee-Hong Peter Kim, MD, who specializes in complex endoscopic sinus surgery, treatment of sinonasal tumors, and skull base surgery, is an assistant professor and associate residency program director in the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery.

He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where he received a National Institute of Health (NIH) research grant and completed the yearlong Clinical Scientist Training Program. Dr. Kim completed his residency training in otolaryngology-head & neck surgery at the University of Southern California and then went on to finish fellowship training in neurorhinology and complex sinus/skull base surgery at Oregon Health and Science University.

Dr. Kim’s clinical interests include: primary and revision (re-do) endoscopic sinus surgery; complex endoscopic (minimally invasive) skull base surgery; nasal and sinus tumors, sinusitis and recurrent sinusitis/polyps; fungal sinusitis and endoscopic CSF leak repair.

Dr. Kim has presented his research at national and international symposiums and has authored more than 20 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
