For over 17 years, Jackie Matthews has served the not-for-profit community by performing and leading various attestation engagements, primarily audits, with a focus on single audits. She started her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers and transitioned to HRC – a firm well known and respected for its more than 30 years of nonprofit expertise. As HRC’s chief executive officer, Matthews oversees the firm’s system of quality management and firm growth.

Through these efforts, she maintains a grounded, functional understanding of the financial reporting challenges faced by not-for-profit organizations of various sizes. As a firm leader and client-facing practitioner, she brings a vital boutique-firm perspective to services provided.

Raised in South Florida and West Virginia, Matthews has lived in Las Vegas for over 26 years while also spending time in the greater Reno area to support the firm’s Northern Nevada operations. Together with her husband, Stephen - who is also a CPA, former Beta Alpha Psi president, and UNLV alumnus - and their five children, the family also shares their home with a menagerie of pets – too many dogs to count and two horses! Matthews enjoys living in Nevada because of the constant change and innovation the region has to offer. In her free time, she most enjoys riding her horse, Sol RM.
