Gill Hayon serves as the current Treasurer for the UNLV Veteran Alumni Club. Born in California, but raised in Las Vegas since childhood, Gill is a proud U.S. Army combat veteran who served as an infantryman, reconnaissance scout and sniper team leader from 2009 - 2013, including a 12-month combat tour to Iraq in 2010, attaining the rank of Sergeant before his honorable discharge from his military service and return home to Las Vegas. in 2013 He enrolled into the Lee Business School at UNLV, held numerous executive board positions including President of the international Jewish fraternity Alpha Epsilon Pi, and graduated from UNLV in 2017 with a Bachelor's in Business Marketing. He melded his leadership experience and organizational skills which he learned in the military into his entrepreneurial career and credits the structured and disciplined approach to business to his experience in the service.

While studying for his undergraduate degree, Gill was simultaneously working in various mid-to-high level management positions on the Las Vegas strip as a marketing, nightlife, and F&B manager on the Las Vegas strip. Today, he is the President of a successful national audiovisual equipment company called AVGear, and is the owner of his own marketing strategy & small business consultation company, focusing on providing seamless marketing and operational strategies and solutions for small businesses across the Las Vegas valley, California and Texas.
