Emily was born in San Diego, California and has been living in Las Vegas for the past 17 years. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a bachelor’s in criminal justice in 2019 and is currently in her second year of the M.A. in Criminal Justice program at UNLV. Her research focuses on the treatment of LGBTQ+ students who are in the school system. Emily plans on graduating in the spring of 2021 and after graduation wants to work as a victim’s advocate.
