Biography

Dr. Monique Martinez-Quiros, DBH, MS, LCPC, LPC, NCC is a dual-licensed mental health therapist in Nevada and Arizona. She specializes in family conflict, conduct disorders, life transitions, and bridging the gap between the medical model and mental health (integrated behavioral health).  She is the Youth Program Coordinator at UNLV’s PRACTICE. She graduated with her Doctorate in Behavioral Health from Arizona State University in 2018, with completed research on the early detection of metabolic syndrome amongst children and adolescents with active and engaged parents/guardians. Dr. Monique considers herself an "out of the box" therapist who strives to build genuine trust by maintaining transparency and delivering care as her authentic self in English or Spanish. On a personal note, she has 3 daughters and enjoys trying new places to eat with her husband, Johnny.
