Biography
Amanda Hoffman is a visiting assistant professor in the department of educational psychology, leadership, and higher education. She received her Ph.D. in educational psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2022 and a master’s of teaching in higher education and student affairs from Virginia Tech in 2016. Her applied research focuses on the academic support and success of intercollegiate student-athletes. Methodologically, her research focuses on measurement issues, including item-level models (IRT, LLBT) and culturally informed measurement tools.
