Kenitra Swope is a Midwest native who received her Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication, at Southern Illinois University. She loves meeting new people and being of service to those in need. New to the advising world, she is hopeful the impact she makes within the program, allows everyone to feel comfortable enough to ask for help. She feels there are no dumb questions, so anything you would like to know, feel free to ask! Aside from academic advising, Kenitra also loves being a hairstylist. Being behind the chair for almost a decade, lead her to the joys of getting to know others and caring about what matters most--how you see yourself and the world around you. Kenitra hobbies include, skating, dancing, reading, writing, and gossiping with her toddler son who is also excited to join the Las Vegas area. She is here to listen and make your transition to UNLV a breeze.
