Description

Fundamentals of nuclear reactor design and analysis of the fission process. Basic health physics, reactor shielding, and nuclear waste management. Calculation of reactor dimensions for criticality. Reactor kinetics and control. This course is crosslisted with ME 455. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
