UNLV Film artistic director Francisco Menendez, the Future Cinema class, Professor Adam Paul (not pictured) and UNLV Film alumni recently attended the Broadcast Educators Association (BEA) conference and trained in virtual production advancements with collaborators Vū Studios, HTC MARS, and Unilumin.

Menendez facilitated a session that gave educators an opportunity to learn how the use of simple, low-cost technology can create a successful virtual production. He also shared the most up-to-date LED wall technology, highlighting the UNLV Film partnership with Vū Studios in professional virtual production. 

The Future Cinema class includes students Marcell Cardenas, Ramiro Garcia, Kai Gentile-Manigault, Evan Harris, Benjamin Janes, Adrian Pedroza.
