The Alex G. and Faye Spanos Distinguished Teaching Award is given annually to an outstanding UNLV instructor. To be eligible, faculty members must have won a college teaching award, so this award is given to one of the best of the best. Winners of department and college teaching awards are invited to apply on an annual basis. The award is administered through the UNLV Faculty Center.
