The Sponsorship Program enables enrolled graduate and professional students to fund research materials, conference travel, and professional development opportunities that support completion of their degree program or contribute to their field of study. Students may request up to $2,500 in one year.

The Cap & Gown Program supports students where the cost of regalia would present a barrier to their participation in commencement activities. Portal opens Sept. 20/Feb. 20 for Winter/Spring Commencement.

The GPSA recognizes outstanding students and faculty from across disciplines and classifications for their contributions to the development and continued growth of UNLV. Nominations are accepted throughout the academic year. Nominations portal closes March 1st.

This fund aims to promote publishing activity for graduate students and supports students unable to afford article publishing costs associated with peer-reviewed open access journals.

Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) with at least five graduate student members and one graduate students officer may apply for funding support from the GPSA up to $2,000 annually.

The Continuation Support Grant (CSG) is to provide financial assistance, up to $500, to graduate and professional students experiencing a financial or life crisis. Students may apply for a CSG from the GPSA twice in their graduate career at UNLV.

The CARE Survivor Fund is an emergency fund available to UNLV students financially impacted by stalking or sexual, relationship, or family violence.

The year-round UNLV Food Pantry provides food to students, staff, and faculty who need additional support.

The UNLV Preschool is an early childhood program (six weeks to five years) that serves the children of UNLV students, faculty, and staff at a discounted rate.

Graduate students experiencing financial hardship are encouraged to apply for an Emergency Retention Grant (ERG) through the UNLV Graduate College.

UNLV provides a variety of services that support students with issues such as food, housing, or transportation insecurity, child care, medical and mental health needs, and digital/technology access.

Student health insurance provides for necessary medical and mental health coverage for services beyond what is available through the Student Wellness Center.
