The UNLV @ Nellis Office
The UNLV @ Nellis Office, located in Room 314 of the Education Center in building 20, is part of the broader UNLV initiative to provide higher education courses and services to military personnel, veterans, and dependents in Southern Nevada. Application and university fees are waived for all active duty military members.
Chardon Cooks is the Academic Affairs Coordinator for the office and is located at Nellis fulltime. She is there to provide professional academic support to current and prospective UNLV-Nellis students. Information and services provided include, but are not limited to, answering questions related to career exploration, degree majors and minors, UNLV admission processes, financial aid options and opportunities, veteran services, academic support programs, and general academic advising.
