Congratulations to Cristina Hernandez, project manager for the Department of Social and Behavioral Health, for receiving the Administrative Faculty of the Month Award for February 2024. 

The nominator wrote:

"Cristina makes sure that we keep updated with cultural, gender, race, socioeconomic, and ethnicity aspects. She teaches us just by being herself. She cares about people. Her most outstanding accomplishment is making sure to incorporate community into our work, really work within the community as a team, as an equal, that is in fact outstanding."

The Administrative Faculty of the Month Award recognizes outstanding colleagues who go above and beyond to advance the mission of UNLV. The winning recipient receives a certificate and $150 to recognize their contributions. Nominations for the April award are due by the end of the month.
