Familiarize yourself with MyUNLV and regularly check your To-Do List located in the Task Tile. Be sure to complete any items on your list before each semester.

Submit Required Immunization Records

All enrolled students who attend classes on campus must meet immunization requirements. Submit proof of immunization to the Office of the Registrar as soon as possible to prevent registration holds.

Submit Your Official Documents

It is highly recommended to submit official copies of your needed documents before attending orientation. However, you may submit these during orientation if needed.

  • Military Training Transcript – All military members using VA education benefits must submit their military training transcript. Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, and Navy can request these transcripts electronically. Air Force must contact Air University to request a transcript.

Submit Benefit Certification Paperwork

Students Using VA Education Benefits

  • For students using VA Education Benefits, you can complete your benefit certification by logging into MyUNLV and clicking on the Resources tile from your Rebel Student Homepage. Click VA Educations Benefits. Then, select the Term and select the appropriate VA Chapter for your benefits. Be sure to submit your VA Certificate of Eligibility or VA form 22-1905 (from your Vocational Rehabilitation counselor), and DD-214 member 4 copy to the Military & Veteran Services Center (MVSC).

Active Duty Military Tuition Assistance or Nevada National Guard Tuition Waiver

Apply for Nevada Residency (if applicable)

Nevada grants residency for tuition purposes, with proof of documentation, to all honorably discharged veterans within five years of separation and for military family members using VA Education Benefits within three years of separation. Complete the Residency Application Form to apply for Nevada Residency.

Register for Classes

First-Year Students

  • Fall Semester: First-year students will receive their class schedules during orientation.
  • Spring Semester: Academic advising is not provided during orientation. Contact your Advising Center to schedule an appointment.

Transfer Students

  • Fall Semester: Academic advising will be offered during orientation. We encourage you to meet with an Academic Advisor before orientation. Contact your Advising Center to schedule an appointment to register for courses as soon as possible.
  • Spring Semester: Academic advising is not provided during orientation. Contact your Advising Center to schedule an appointment.

Activate Your Rebelmail

Follow the online steps to activate your Rebelmail. Using your Rebelmail account is mandatory, as it is the university’s official means of communicating with you. Your Rebelmail account includes the G Suite, giving you access to Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, and unlimited storage on the Drive.
