Transportation seminar: “A New Approach to Driverless Mobility” March 8 (Today)

We invite you to join us for a transportation seminar, “A new approach to driverless mobility,” from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 8.

The seminar will be held in person at SEB 1245. We also offer an option for individuals to participate online.

The speaker is Thomas von der Ohe, co-founder and CEO of Vay, a leading teledriving company. Vay aims to provide an affordable and sustainable door-to-door mobility service. He holds an MSc in computer science and entrepreneurship from Stanford University and has previously founded two funded mobility companies.

Von der Ohe will showcase how Vay addresses urban mobility challenges using advanced technology, empowering people to navigate cities easily, affordably, and sustainably. The session will explore innovative solutions like remote driving, shaping the future of urban transportation. Vay recently initiated operations in the Las Vegas metropolitan area.
