The Researcher's Guide to Citation-Based Metrics Workshop Feb. 13

Metrics, particularly those calculated based on citations, have been used for selecting journals to publish in, evaluation of author and publication prestige, and more for many years. These so-called measurements of impact are often difficult to navigate and understanding when and how to use them is challenging. They are frequently subject to bias, exclusivity, and gaming.

Join research impact librarian Christina Miskey on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 11:30 a.m. for "The Researcher's Guide to Citation-Based Metrics." This virtual workshop is for individuals at any career stage that has questions and wants to learn the good, the bad, and the ugly about citation-based metrics.

Register. The workshop will be delivered via Zoom.
