Music and Brain Health May 9

The postponed "Music and Brain Health" event by Brain Health & You is back in full swing! We warmly welcome you to attend on Thursday, May 9, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the UNLV Dr. Arturo Rando Recital Hall. This event will showcase the talents of singer/songwriter Chadwick Johnson; UNLV's expert on auditory perception and cognition Joel Snyder; and advocate for lifelong learning Niels Clyde. The day will feature delightful performances by the OLLI at UNLV’s Ukulele group and the esteemed UNLV Jazz Ensemble. Join us in a panel discussion, exploring the intricate link between music and cognitive health, with insights from Snyder, Johnson, Kate Zhong, David Loeb of UNLV Jazz, and Rob Levrant. End your day on a high note with smooth jazz harmonies followed by complimentary cookies and hot chocolate in the lobby. Don't miss out on this enriching opportunity aimed at boosting brain health through music! This is a free community event; advanced registration is requested.
