Explore Open Access at Workshop March 21

Join the University Libraries for the workshop "Introduction to Open Access" on Thursday, March 21 at 2:30 p.m. The workshop will be offered in person in the Pioche Room at Lied Library and online.

This workshop will focus on the practical aspects of open access, including how to achieve open sharing of your scholarly publications with confidence. You will learn tips for navigating an increasingly complex world of open access and have time to ask questions.

Andrea Wirth, scholarly communication librarian, will share current trends in open-access publishing, describe different models of open-access publishing, and provide techniques for locating open-access journals in your field of research. You will also learn about the characteristics of good practices in open-access journal publishing and become familiar with tools to avoid predatory journals.

Register. This workshop is free and open to all.

A Rebel+ Libraries Workshop Series event.
