The Healing Library, located at the Care Center, offers knowledge and entertainment that is trauma-informed and healing-centered. It's available for UNLV faculty, staff, and students. Reach out to the Care Center staff if a non-student is interested in renting.
When you arrive and select a book, you can check out at the front desk to sign an Agreement Form and review the healing library policy. Books are for one month's rent but can be extended upon request. Please be mindful that we do hold books that contain topics that can be activating for folks such as sexual assault, domestic violence, and oppression.
The Healing Library is also open for donations! Drop off a book that you think might fit in with our collection.
Located at the Care Center in the SSC-A building, room 255 (down the hall from financial aid). Visit during our office hours: Monday - Friday: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Hope to see you there!
