The event is free and open to the public and will focus on how law enforcement efforts have changed since Sept. 11 and how local residents and law enforcement can work together to build safer communities. Forum panelists include:

- Kevin Favreau, Special Agent in Charge, Federal Bureau of Investigation (Las Vegas)
- Tom Monahan, Lieutenant, Southern Nevada Counter-Terrorism Center
- Tom O'Reilly, Senior Policy Advisor for the Bureau of Justice Assistance
- Robert Wasserman, Owner, Strategic Policy Partnership
The event is sponsored by the UNLV Institute for Security Studies (ISS) as part of its Security Forum Series. Scott Smith, executive director of the ISS, will offer opening remarks.
