Major Gifts and Naming Opportunities

Every so often, a donor recognizes the full potential of an organization and, acting out of incredible generosity, makes a gift that catapults that organization to the next level. A major gift to the Honors College is a creative act – an opportunity for a donor to transform our college and, in turn, profoundly influence the lives of hundreds of students.

We invite you to help imagine the future of the Honors College by considering a major gift of more than $25,000. This support can be directed to create named scholarships, endowed professorships, new programs or improve our facilities. Major gifts can include gifts of cash, gifts of appreciated property, personal property, and gifts-in-kind. We also invite you to consider including the Honors College in your financial and estate plans.

As the Honors College moves to a newly renovated, larger facility on campus in 2015, we will have significant naming opportunities for major gift donors including our new study lounge, new computer lab, new equipment, and naming the college itself.

To discuss the possibilities of making a major gift or planned gift, please contact our Director of Development, Daniel Coyle, at 702-895-2257 or daniel.coyle@unlv.edu.
