Bien-Air, USA has generously donated eight-five (85) MX2 Systems including displays, controllers, tubing an convertors to the UNLV School of Dental Medicine (UNLV SDM). Bien-Air is the largest manufacturer of electrical dental motors in the world. The donation will be used to upgrade the hand-held units in our Simulation Lab to match the remaining units in clinics throughout the school. The Simulation Lab is a teaching and assessment laboratory where students practice and refine their skills on orally-correct mannequins. The equipment is valued at $225,339 and will be integrated into the pre-doctoral curriculum during the upcoming semester. Students will benefit from having this standard technology found throughout the school for their four years at UNLV.
