Multiple Options to match your goals
We have multiple options for students, including a Policy, Public Forum, and Lincoln-Douglas camp, as well as three 5-day sessions for middle school students, and two and three-week camp options for Policy debate students.
Low Instructor-to-Student Ratio
The RDI offers one of the best student-to-teacher ratios in the country at an incredibly affordable price. With an average of 4 students per instructor, students at the RDI will have the opportunity to work closely our talented lab leaders.
High Number of Quality Debates
While research and evidence production is important, the RDI also places an emphasis on experience, because we believe knowing how to use the evidence that you have is just as important as researching to find the cards themselves. Every camper will begin the camp with a starter set of evidence so that debates and skills work can begin immediately. Every camper will participate in multiple practice speeches, practice debates, and our end-of-camp tournament.

The RDI will employ debaters and coaches from the UNLV Debate Team, currently ranked 5th in the Nation. Our coaches and debaters have decades of combined experience to pass along to you, and we are dedicated to helping you to become the best debater that you can be.
Support Local Debate
The RDI supports local high school policy debate in the Las Vegas area, and is affiliated with the Las Vegas Debate League. We are excited to welcome students from across the country to join us in supporting a vibrant high school policy debate community.
