Tournaments

The Sanford I. Berman Debate Forum hosts a prominent high school debate tournament and a prominent college debate tournament every year.

College Tournament

The 2014 Las Vegas Classic Invitational Collegiate Debate Tournament will be hosted on the UNLV campus October 18-20. This tournament is quickly is becoming one of the best and biggest policy debate tournaments in America. Registration for the Las Vegas Classic occurs at the iDebate tabroom.

High School Tournament

The Ted Belch Golden Desert High School Debate Tournament will be hosted on the UNLV campus January 31 through February 2, 2015. This tournament is one of the biggest and best high school debate tournaments on the West Coast. We host all formats of debate, including Policy Debate, Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Public Forum Debate, and Student Congress. It's a "quarters bid" to the Tournament of Champions (TOC) in both Policy Debate and Public Forum, it's a "semis bid" to the TOC in Lincoln-Douglas Debate, and it's a finals bid to the TOC in Student Congress. 2015 NDCA National Championship Tournament

The Sanford I. Berman Debate Forum is proud to host the 2015 National Debate Coaches Association (NDCA) National Championship Tournament. The NDCA National Championships will be hosted on the UNLV campus April 11-13, 2015. This will be the third time that UNLV has hosted the NDCA tournament, and we believe that this will be the biggest and best version of the tournament yet!
