Planned Actions for AY 2023-2024

• Structuring Offices of Government Affairs and Community Engagement to streamline efforts/leverage limited resources.
• Development of an action plan for the next legislative biennium and creation of a strategic plan for community engagement.
• Continued analysis of current actions and progress, as well as determining the path forward for university-wide community engagement, as well as engagement with government entities.
• Collection and analysis of data for Carnegie Classification for Community Engagement (CCCE) recertification process; begin a second process with resubmitted items based on feedback provided.
• Host the inaugural university-wide Community Engagement summit.
• Implement faculty/staff volunteerism program.
• Expand outreach and other initiatives in and for the UNLV neighborhood.
