Lance received his bachelor’s degree in physics from California State University of Bakersfield (CSUB). His time in the sciences revealed not only the importance of the subject matter, but the value of effectively communicating that knowledge. He then pursued his master’s degree in history from CSUB. He focused his studies on how science, technology, and innovations improved people’s lives. While working at CSUB, Lance learned the value that his knowledge and skills could bring to students. Afterwards, he pursued his career as an academic advisor for the Division of Health Sciences at UNLV.
