Biography

Technical sergeant Riggleman enlisted in the United States Air Force in 2009. His Air Force Specialty Code is 1W0X1 Weather Forecaster, working with pilots and other base personnel. During his first assignment at Scott Air Force Base (AFB), IL he learned and applied fundamentals in meteorology while providing weather overwatch for eight Department of Defense installations and over 75 site locations across the central states. Next, he became a forecaster and supervisor for the 732d Operations Group at Creech AFB, NV providing real time airspace and terrain analysis and long-range forecasts supporting four Remotely Piloted Aircraft Attack Squadrons across the globe. From Creech AFB, Sergeant Riggleman moved to Shaw AFB, SC to stand up a new Operations Support Squadron within the 25th Attack Group supporting Remotely Piloted Aircraft. After setting up the new unit he moved across base to begin supporting the 20th Fighter Wing as the Non-Commissioned in Charge of Mission and Airfield Weather Operations supporting 79 F-16 jets. Much of his career has been focused on operations ensuring mission sorties occur hazard free and injecting mission and planning data in relation to weather forecasting.
