Janine Barrett previously worked in software development for a Bay Area company in Northern California. She joined the UNLV professional staff in 2001 and is currently employed as a systems analyst in the Office of Data Resources. Her responsibilities include development, analysis, and maintenance of database systems used for information management, facilitation, review, and assessment of systems data in her division. Barrett led the implementation of an electronic initiative that improved new graduate student recruitment, application, and communication. Barrett graduated from UNLV summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in business administration (management information systems) in 2000. She is currently pursuing a dual master’s degree in business administration and management information systems from UNLV.
